Keith Chen is currently working as textile and design related researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He loves design very much, and understands that a good design is not limited to 'think out of the box' but also requires a deep foundation to support the creation. With the rapid development of science and technology, the availability of new materials and advancement in machinery, the functions and application of clothing, instead of its appearance, are becoming more important. In short, it brings breakthroughs and more possibilities in fashion design. Therefore, Keith will continue to pursue further studies as a PhD in textiles and design, and strive to promote the local creative industry. His design tends to illustrate the combination of traditional culture and modern technology.
