Absurd Laboratory

Absurd Laboratory由Eric Wong 创⽴于2012年。

他相信生活并不总是像往常一样，而是在反覆的试验和错误中渡过，可以是充满着荒谬性的。他喜欢在时装、设计和日常生活上探索和创造新角度及看法，并以“Life is Absurd”为设计理念，将平⽇⽣活上的细节、感受及想法融入到时装设计中。

Absurd是可穿性和实验性的结合，同时拥有其独特个性。他希望透过Absurd Laboratory的创作，每季都能以不同角度展现出他⼼⽬中的「时装」。

其充满创造力的设计获⾹港著名古着店美华氏所欣赏，邀请合作联手发展古着再生设计系列。尝试打破一般古着重造固有的拼贴手法，军事和复古等风格⾯貌，利用古着衣物的面料质感，图案，配上立体剪裁、多层次细节和独特的配色等手法，以设计及造型角度演变出具现代感，时尚及别致的再生古着，同时也延续了古着独一无二的个性象征。

Absurd Laboratory is established by Eric Wong in 2012.

He believes life is not always as usual, but rather through trial and error, which can be full of absurdities. He loves exploring and creating new angles and perspectives on fashion, design and daily life. With ‘Life is Absurd’ as his design philosophy, he integrates the details, feelings and ideas of daily life into fashion design.

‘Absurd’ made fashion is highly wearable and experimental, while remains its uniqueness. Through the creation of Absurd Laboratory, he hopes to present his “fashion” from a different angle in every season.

In recent years, Absurd Laboratory is invited by Midwest, a local renowned vintage fashion store, to collaborate on a new ‘vintage remake’ collection, aimed to breakthrough from usual patchwork, military and retro style. Base on the fabric texture, pattern, coupled with three-dimensional cut, layering details and unique color matching, they create new vintage remake style with a sense modern chic from design and styling perspectives, and yet ‘one of a kind’.
